During the course the student will:

• be introduced to Web technologies and standards (html, xml, sql, ftp and the w3c)
• use the web to find answers and solutions (how to use Google to get help)
• know how to use HTML and CSS to create web pages
• learn how to create, edit and optimize graphics for the web
• be shown how to optimize video for use on the website
